ATTORNEY ASSIGNMENT

Attorneys in the Office of the County Counsel are assigned to "teams" which represent a variety of clients with common interests. For instance, the Office has a "General Government" team, which provides services to clients such as the Controller, the Assessor, the Recorder, the Facility and Fleet Department, and the Registrar of Voters. While attorneys are assigned to teams and clients, the assignments are periodically changed to give attorneys experience in different areas and to meet the needs of a particular team. Regardless of his or her specific assignment, each attorney in the Office is available to provide assistance to any client.
