Since Spring of 1999, the County has been providing a wide-range of new services for elders and dependent adults who have fallen victim to physical, emotional or financial abuse.
In an effort spearheaded by County Counsel Ann Ravel, Santa Clara County became the first county in the nation and the first government entity on the West Coast to file suit against lead paint manufacturers.
