This unit is responsible for managing the County’s legislative programs in Sacramento and Washington. It includes developing the Legislative Priorities and Policies Document, initiating legislation and monitoring State and Federal legislation that affects the County. In addition, special projects of an intergovernmental nature are staffed by the unit, including redevelopment issues and grants.
