KEY information for BOARD action
The KEYBOARD (KEY information for BOARD action) application was primarily developed to support the business processes associated with creating agendas for the Board of Supervisors for the County of Santa Clara. KEYBOARD covers the complete agenda process and supports the following functions:
- Create, review, authorize Board transmittals;
- Electronically submit transmittals to the Agenda Review Administrator, who uses KEYBOARD to prepare review packets for the Agenda Review Committee (ARC) meeting;
- Summarize ARC recommendations and electronically forward transmittals to the Clerk of the Board;
- Clerk of the Board creates and publishes Board Agenda;
- Users can access and review Board Agenda and transmittals via KEYBOARD; KEYBOARD also facilitates posting of the full agenda and transmittals to the intranet and the County's internet web site;
- Clerk of the Board creates Summary of Proceedings, processes Board documents and creates meeting minutes.
In addition to supporting the Board Agenda process, KEYBOARD also supports the Board Committee, Boards and Commissions, and Budget meeting processes.
