Here is a list of the issues that Dave has focused on since taking the Office of District Three Supervisor. 

A Green County

As one of the largest employers in the County, Dave believes that the County needs to take the lead in reducing its environmental impact. This includes everything from ensuring all County owned and operated buildings are LEED-certified to creating a low-interest financing program for home-owners and businesses to reduce their impact on the environment.

An Efficient Government

The County has a limited revenue stream to pay for the multitude of safety net services that it provides. Therefore Supervisor Cortese believes that it must reduce wastefulness and increase its efficiency to be able to provide these essential services to the County's residents, especially in this poor economy.
