Palo Alto Transfers UST Program to County CUPA
Effective January 1, 2009, the City of Palo Alto is transferring regulation of all underground storage tank (UST) systems in the city to DEH, the County Certified Unified Program Agency (CUPA). Responsibility for Unified Program billing and permit issuance is also being transferred to DEH as of that date. All other programs currently handled by Palo Alto Fire Department remain unchanged.
