Community Outreach

Public outreach is an integral part of the Household Hazardous Waste Program.  It is our goal that the communities we serve become more aware of the impact of disposing of hazardous waste improperly.  If your community association, organization, or local business is conducting a community meeting or environmentally oriented event, let us know.  We may be able to provide you with helpful HHW literature and/or staffing at an information booth.  Current emphasis is being placed on the dangers of improper Mercury disoposal and awareness.  For more information please call (408) 299-7300.
