 1. Is it necessary for an applicant to file an employment application in person?

Applications may be submitted online at www.sccjobs.org, in person, delivered by someone other than the applicant, or mailed to the appropriate location. You must review the job bulletin carefully for special instructions. Some have unique requirements.

Postmark dates are NOT accepted as being on time since applications must be received at the specified address by 5:00 p.m. on the final filing date. A bulletin marked "Continuous" filing may close after 10 workdays from the date of issuance; therefore, you should submit your application promptly or it may be rejected for late filing.
