Target

The first and the most important task of a successful interdisciplinary IPM program is to identify key projects with each department, define common elements among the projects, create umbrella to minimize duplication or redundancy, adopt already existing proven strategies, demonstrate benefits of integration, provide economic studies & plan gradual adoption meeting departmental budgetary targets, and also disseminate knowledge to other practitioners.

The Santa Clara County Integrated Pest Management (IPM) Program is focused on non-production agriculture and structural IPM projects. Following Key Pest Management & Pesticide Use projects are identified to ensure a sustainable Countywide IPM program:
