Draft Equestrian Stables Location Feasibility Study Report

Feasibility Study Purpose:

Santa Clara County Parks is conducting an Equestrian Stables Location Feasibility Study to examine the feasibility of locating an equestrian stabling facility near Calero County Park or other high equestrian use areas in the Santa Clara County Parks system.  The Feasibility Study is intended to address the public demand for equestrian stabling and associated equestrian activities in Santa Clara County, as noted in the 2003 Strategic Plan for the Santa Clara County Parks and Recreation System, and reflects County Parks’ interest to continue to accommodate equestrian use in its park system.
