New Camping Reservation Program The Santa Clara County Parks and Recreation Department is embarking on a New Camping Reservation Program for all five camping parks. The new program applies to Coyote Lake, Grant, Mt. Madonna, Sanborn, Uvas Canyon and Ed Levin (youth group overnight only) and the parks’ group campsites, RV campsites, group overnight, walk-in campsites and youth group overnight. -
All campsites can be reserved up to 48 hours in advance -
Reservations can be made up to 6 months in advance -
Less than 48 hours - all campsites are first come, first served -
There is a minimum two-night requirement on weekends. -
Campsite reservations are site specific To make a camping reservation, call (408) 355-2201, Monday through Friday, 8:30 am to 3:30 pm or in person from 9:00 am to 4:00 pm at the Parks Administration Building, 298 Garden Hill Dr., Los Gatos. A non-refundable reservation fee of $6.00 will be charged for each reservation. Camping Rules and Regulations Please help make the camping experience a pleasurable one for everyone by adhering to the following rules and any posted regulations: -
Camp at established sites ONLY. -
All family camping sites are by reservation only at Mt. Madonna, Grant, Coyote Lake, and Uvas Canyon. -
Call (408) 355-2201 to make a reservation. -
All drive-in campsites have a maximum capacity of eight (8) persons and two vehicles. -
All vehicles must remain on designated roads and parking areas. -
Walk-in campsites have a capacity of six (6) persons. -
Persons under age 18 cannot camp overnight unless accompanied by a responsible adult. -
Maximum of two (2) pets per campsite. Keep pets on a 6 foot (or shorter) leash during the day and in confined areas overnight. - No Fires are permitted on the ground. Fires in BBQ pits must be kept beneath the grate. Wood fires may be prohibited during fire season and during high fire conditions (Red Flag Day). Observe posted fire conditions. Campfires must be contained in the provided fire rings and kept beneath the grate. Campfires must be attended at all times and campfires must be extinguished when not attended. Please read all posted signs upon check in.

No wood gathering. Wood may be available for purchase at the entrance kiosk. -
Park closes to non-campers from sunset until 8:00 a.m. -
Quiet hours are from 10:00 p.m. to 7:00 a.m. No radios or other loud noises during quiet hours. -
Maximum stay is 14 days within a 45 day period. A maximum stay of 14 days is allowed between Labor Day through Memorial Day. |
