The data files found on this page are the OFFICIAL versions of the Liquefaction Hazard Zones adopted by the Santa Clara County Board of Supervisors on February 26, 2002. The map images found on this page were derived from the adopted data files. They are subject to periodic revisions. Revisions were made to the County Liquefaction Hazard Zones following the release of the Official Seismic Hazard Zones Maps by the State of Califorina through October 18, 2006. The map images downloadable from this page were derived from the adopted and updated data files.

The Liquefaction Hazard Zones Maps are in PDF format. The .pdf format allows users to zoom in and view additional detail, without any loss of quality from the original map. Maps are 8.5x14 inches, which allows for printing on regular printers using legal size paper.

The data files are ArcView Shapefiles contained in a zip archive. They are in standard projection for California State Plane, Zone 3, NAD 83, units U.S. Feet.
