| In response to a referral from the Board of Supervisors, the Planning Office has been exploring options for redefining the floor area and basements provisions that apply to underlying lots in the unincorporated Los Altos area. On January 22, 2009, the Housing, Land-Use, Environment and Transportation Committee (HLUET) accepted the staff report, and referred the matter to the Board of Supervisors. At a scheduled March 3 public hearing, the Board elected to continue the matter to a yet-unscheduled future hearing date.
