Juvenile Rehabilitation Facilities

Juvenile Rehabilitation Facilities:
Three minimum-security residential facilities provide treatment and educational services to both male and female offenders. Youth are Court ordered to complete a 120 to 150 day program. Educational, vocational, medical, mental health, and aftercare services are provided based on individual assessment and case management needs. On-site programming includes:
- Chemical dependency treatment
- Substance abuse education
- Health education
- Life skills
- Parenting classes
- Sex offender counseling
- Sexual abuse treatment
- Sports programs
- Gang intervention
- Domestic violence education
- Religious counseling
- Vocational Training


Ranch Adjustment Program:
Services for youth who are Court ordered to the juvenile rehabilitation facility following a previous escape or failure. Services include victim awareness and anger management training, gang intervention services, substance abuse evaluation and treatment, and risk/need assessment through a multi-disciplinary team approach.

 

Ranch Orientation Program:
Services for youth who are Court ordered to the juvenile rehabilitation facility for the first time. Includes victim awareness and anger management training and orientation.

 

Community Based Aftercare:
Collaborative program for youth who have graduated from a juvenile rehabilitation facility or from the juvenile hall commitment program and are transitioning back to the community. Services include community support, family reunification, substance abuse services, mental health services, and educational services.
