The County of Santa Clara is participating in a test project to capture revenue from unused surplus. Gently worn items are cataloged and auctioned off to the highest bidder. This program hopes to improve reuse and recycle non hazardous items such as desks, chairs, computer components, basic medical items and much more.

TERMS OF SALE
8.25 % sales tax will be added to the amounts of all winning bids.
All buyers must accept the terms and conditions listed below.
The Property is sold and conveyed to the buyer USED, "AS IS, WHERE IS". The County of Santa Clara, as Seller, hereby expressly disclaims all warranties, either express or implied, including implied warranty of merchantability or fitness for a purpose, and neither assumes nor authorizes other person(s) to assume for it, any liability in connection with the sale of said Property. There are no guarantees, express or implied as to condition, usability, merchantability, or fitness for a particular purpose. Property sold is not subject to any breach of guarantee, specifications, warranties, express or implied, as to the quality or kind of any such product.
All items must be paid for within 7 days and picked up within 15 days of the end of auction or day of sale, or buyer forfeits their rights to the item, and item will be relisted for sale.
All items must be picked up at the designated pickup station; the County will not ship or arrange shipment
Auction item pick-up is Tuesday & Thursday from 1:30-3:30PM or by appointment.
