Santa Clara County Airport Commission

The Airports Commission was established by County Ordinance NS-300.359, on August 17, 1982.

The general purpose of the Commission shall be to provide policy guidance to the Board of Supervisors and the Roads and Airports Department on the planning and operation of General Aviation airports operated by Santa Clara County; to provide a public forum for all parties interested in County airport planning and operations, and to establish effective working relationships with the various community and government organizations concerned with airport operation in Santa Clara County.

The Commission holds regular meetings on the first Tuesday of every-other month starting at 6:00 P.M. The Commission holds work-shop meetings on the first Tuesday of every month that a regular meeting is not scheduled. The workshops also start at 6:00 P.M.
