November 3, 2009 Consolidated Election

Candidates

Candidates interested in running for office in the November 3, 2009 election may pick up nomination papers beginning July 13, 2009. Nomination papers must be filed in the Office of the Registrar of Voters by 5:00 pm August 7, 2009. Offices in which an eligible incumbent does not file by the August 7 deadline will have a 5-calendar-day extension period for filing nomination papers.

Measures

The attachment below titled “List of Local Measures” contains the actual measure questions submitted to appear on the ballot. The attachment below titled “Measure Argument Deadlines” contains the deadlines for filing arguments and rebuttal arguments pertaining to a local measure.

June 8, 2010 Gubernatorial Primary Election

Candidates

Candidates interested in running for office in the June 8, 2010 election may pick up nomination papers beginning February 16, 2010. Nomination papers must be filed in the Office of the Registrar of Voters by 5:00 pm March 12, 2010. Offices in which an eligible incumbent does not file by the March 12 deadline will have a 5-calendar-day extension period for filing nomination papers.
