Immunization Program and Clinics

What's New

Due to a nationwide shortage of yellow fever vaccine, you must call 408-792-5200 to check on the vaccine availability.

April 25 - May 2, 2009 is National Infant Immunization Week

Immunizations are the best way to prevent many serious and life-threatening diseases. National Infant Immunization Week (NIIW) is an annual observance held during the last week of April to promote the benefits of immunizations and to focus on the importance of immunizing infants against vaccine-preventable diseases by age two. NIIW provides an excellent opportunity for immunization advocates, healthcare providers, health departments, and community leaders across the country to focus on the positive impact of immunization on the lives of infants and communities they live in, and to call attention to immunization achievements. The 2009 NIIW/TIM observance has partnered with the California-Statewide “I Choose” campaign, which highlights groups and community members that support immunizations throughout California

For more information about National Infant Immunization Week activities in California, visit the California Immunization Coalition website at www.immunizeca.org.
