The Comprehensive Annual Financial Report (CAFR) of the County of Santa Clara, State of California (the County), is compiled and submitted in accordance with Section 601 of the County Charter and California Government Code Section 25253. It has been prepared in conformance with the principles and standards for financial reporting set forth by the Governmental Accounting Standards Board. Responsibility for the accuracy, completeness and fairness of the presentation, including all disclosures, rests with the County.
