Occupational Outlook Report
Each year NOVA (NOrth VAlley Job Training Consortium a non-profit organization) surveys 25 occupations to get a general overview of their status in the current economy. Survey results detail increasing or decreasing demand for workers, wages and benefits offered, typical work schedules, and business requirements and preferences. The results are published annually in an Occupational Outlook Report.
Industry Reports
NOVA's Labor Market Information Plus Project (LMI+) investigates emerging industries involved in the development and commercialization of new technologies, products, and services. The resulting reports provide in-depth information on an industry, from how it got its start to what its future holds. The reports also describe an industry's labor needs, typical job positions and their responsibilities, skills and education required or desirable, where the job growth is or will be, and where to obtain the necessary education and skills.
County Snapshots
County Snapshots are published by the Labor Market Information Division (LMID) of the California Employment Development Department (EDD). The purpose of the County Snapshots is to provide a labor force profile of California counties in addition to highlighting industry employment trends and growth as compared to the state of California as a whole.
