Santa Clara Valley Medical Center has the resources to provide patients exceptional care. As a referring physician or health care provider, you can count on open communication throughout the referral period, strong support for you existing patient/physician relationship, and a commitment to return you patient to you with a high level of satisfaction.

Santa Clara Valley Medical Center accepts Medi-Cal, Healthy Families and Healthy Kids health plans, and most major health insurance plans.  The Insurance Coverage brochure provides additional information.

Additionally, Santa Clara Valley Medical Center has contracts with the following local and regional physician groups:

  • San Jose Medical Group
  • Santa Clara County Individual Practice Association
  • Camino Medical Group
  • Physicians Medical Group of San Jose

Physicians requesting to refer a patient for Pregnancy and/or Labor & Delivery services can contact the current Perinatal Service Attending on a 24/7 basis by calling 408.885.6400.

Women interested in receiving care can contact Valley Connection at 1.888.334.1000. They are available to assist you Monday through Friday from 7am to 9pm and Weekends from 8am to 4pm.
