The Regional Burn Center utilizes a multidisciplinary, team-oriented approach to patient care.  Heading the team are surgeons specializing in plastic and reconstructive surgery and burn management, along with physicians and surgeons from other medical specialties, specially trained nurses, and allied health professionals in the areas of physical and occupational therapy, psychology, nutritional services, specialized pediatric rehabilitation and social services.  The nurses of the Regional Burn Center have critical care training and are experts in the care and treatment of severely burned patients. These nurses have Advanced Burn Life Support training and their unique skills come with many years of experience in treating the most serious and complex patients..
