The Santa Clara County Office of the Sheriff is looking for new Deputies who can run with responsibility. We're looking for individuals ready to take charge of their lives, and make their community a better place to live.
As a Deputy you'll be responsible for enforcing the law in the unincorporated areas of Santa Clara County, as well as providing police services to the contract cities of Cupertino, Los Altos Hills and Saratoga. You'll work in cooperation with other agencies to coordinate specialized county-wide law enforcement task forces, service all bench warrants, and be responsible for the fulfillment of all civil court orders.
When your application is approved you will begin our intensive training and educational programs that will take you from where you are today and help you achieve your goals. You're supported every step of the way, and given the encouragement needed to succeed.
In the end, you'll join the ranks of those men and women that have what it takes to be the best: a Santa Clara County Deputy Sheriff.
