Headquarters Patrol

Provides 24 hour uniformed law enforcement patrol services for all Central & East unincorporated areas.

The unincorporated areas of the Mount Hamilton Range, including Mount Hamilton, San Antonio Valley, Isabel Valley, San Felipe Valley, and Hall's Valley are patrolled from this station.

The unincorporated south county communities of San Martin, Rucker, and Uvas Canyon, are patrolled from this station. In addition, the unincorporated areas surrounding Morgan Hill and Gilroy are also patrolled by units from this station.

West Valley Division

Provides 24 hour uniformed law enforcement patrol services for the contract cities of Saratoga, Cupertino and Los Altos Hills as well as the unincorporated areas. The West Valley Division is based at the Westside Sheriff's Sub-station, located in the community of Saratoga. Besides providing police services to the three contract cities, they also provide police services to the unincorporated areas of North/West Santa Clara County. The Division's responsibilities include providing patrol and traffic functions, Special Enforcement Details, Investigative Services.

The unincorporated Santa Cruz Mountain communities of Redwood Estates, Aldercroft Heights, Holy City, and Chemeketa Park, and the former Moffett Field Naval Air Station are also patrolled from this station.

Transit Patrol Division

The Transit Patrol Division provides contract security and law enforcement services for the Valley Transportation Authority with the primary goal of safety for VTA patrons, employees, and security for VTA properties. The security is provided by deputy sheriffs supplemented with special enforcement teams of deputies for graffiti suppression and rail right of way enforcement.

Parks Patrol
This unit operates under the Headquarters Patrol Division and provides law enforcement services for the Santa Clara County Parks Department. They are responsible for patrolling and enforcing law within the 27 Santa Clara County parks.
