Any property or evidence confiscated by Deputies or Detectives of the Office of the Sheriff of Santa Clara County is checked into the Sheriff's PROPERTY & EVIDENCE ROOM.

If you have any items that are in custody of the Sheriff's Office PROPERTY & EVIDENCE ROOM, please DO NOT CALL unless  you have received a letter from a Detective.  Property and/or evidence will not be released unless the assigned Detective has given authorization.

If you have received a letter instructing you to make arrangements to pick-up your item(s), you should call the following phone number, 408-808-4515, to schedule an appointment.  Please be prepared to provide the CASE NUMBER, which will be located near the top of the letter.  Appointments are scheduled Monday through Friday, 8:00 A.M. to 3:00 P.M.

We are closed on Saturday, Sunday and all Federal and County holidays.

Notice of Sale of Various Surplus/Found or Seized Property

Notice is hereby given that the Office of the Sheriff of Santa Clara County will sell to the highest bidder various items of surplus, found or seized property.  Said sale will be conducted for the Office of the Sheriff of Santa Clara County by Property Bureau Incorporated on their websites www.propertyroom.com and www.stealitback.com around the 15th of each month, for a minimum of three days, 24 hours a day.
