A range of social services, nutrition programs, and care facilities for people with physical, mental or social impairments are located throughout the county. These locations also offer respite and counseling to the families or care givers of impaired adults. Some locations provide health services including nursing care, specialized therapy, counseling and consultations with medical doctors for seniors.

A special Alzheimer’s disease day care program that provides supervision, personal care, meals and a variety of activities in a secure environment is also available. The center has operating hours that are designed to accommodate the needs of working family members. It also provides resources on available support groups and other health-related services to which an individual may be entitled.
