Statistics

GraphDecision Support and Research
Statistics is a function of Decision Support and Research (DSR), a specialized unit within the Department of Employment and Benefits Services (DEBS) Program responsible for generating routine reports, conducting research through various queries, analyzing and comparing data, setting up and managing databases, constructing and modifying screen and table designs, creating data extracts, and providing technical support as needed.

Decision Support and Research provides accurate and thorough data reports to SSA and DEBS Administration, District Office Management, and stakeholders, such as community partners, DEBS Benefit Services, CalWORKs Employment Services (CWES), Targeted Assistance Program (TAP), Refugee Employment Social Services (RESS), other County departments, and the State of California. The unit produces more than 180 reports with a distribution ranging from weekly to yearly. The majority of these reports are generated on a monthly basis and cover a wide range of areas. Many serve to supply the Agency with information that is vital not only in the day to day operations of the DEBS and CalWORKs Employment Services programs, but for future planning designed to assist the Agency in its commitment to clients and the community.
