Valley Health Plan covers you for Chiropractic when your Primary Care Physician (PCP) prescribes it as medically necessary. Your PCP must process a referral before you receive services. Once approved by VHP, you will receive a copy of the authorization so you can receive the authorized visits with a VHP Network Chiropractor. If you seek chiropractic services without a referral from your PCP or seek services at a non-VHP chiropractor, you may be responsible for all charges. 

There is a maximum of twenty (20) pre-authorized visits per calendar year. You will be asked to pay a $10.00 co-payment at the time of each visit.  Unauthorized services, such as herbal medicines or other treatments will be your financial responsibility.
