Sec. A5-3. Boundaries of District 3.

The boundaries of Supervisorial District No. Three shall be as follows:

Beginning at the point of intersection of the boundary line between the County of Santa Clara and the County of Alameda with the westerly original incorporation boundary of the City of Sunnyvale; thence southerly, easterly, and southerly along the westerly boundary of the City of Sunnyvale to an angle point in said City of Sunnyvale boundary at U.S. 101 (Bayshore Freeway); thence continuing northwesterly along said City of Sunnyvale boundary, and along U.S. 101, to the common boundary between the City of Sunnyvale and the City of Mountain View; thence meandering southerly along the common boundary between the City of Sunnyvale and the City of Mountain View to the intersection with the centerline of the El Camino Real (State Highway 82); thence southeasterly and easterly along the centerline of the El Camino Real to the intersection with the common boundary between the City of Santa Clara and the City of Sunnyvale, said intersection is approximately 150 feet east of Helen Avenue; thence meandering northerly along the common boundary between the City of Sunnyvale and the City of Santa Clara to the intersection with the centerline of the Mountain View-Alviso Road (State Highway 237), said intersection also being at Calabazas Creek; thence northeasterly and easterly along the centerline of said Mountain View-Alviso Road to the intersection with the centerline of the Guadalupe River; thence meandering southerly along the centerline of the Guadalupe River, to the common boundary between the Cities of San Jose and Santa Clara, at Trimble Road; thence meandering southerly along said common boundary between the Cities of San Jose and Santa Clara to the intersection with the centerline of the Union Pacific Railroad (formerly Southern Pacific Railroad) located approximately 1,600 feet southwesterly of Coleman Avenue; thence southeasterly along the centerline of the Union Pacific Railroad to the centerline of U.S. Interstate 880 (formerly State Highway 17); thence northeasterly along the centerline of U.S. Interstate 880 to the intersection with the centerline of U.S. 101 (Bayshore Freeway); thence easterly along the centerline of U.S. 101 to the intersection with the centerline of Berryessa Road; thence northeasterly along the centerline of Berryessa Road to the intersection with the centerline of the Coyote Creek; thence southeasterly along the centerline of the Coyote Creek to the intersection with the centerline of Mabury Road; thence northeasterly along the centerline of Mabury Road to the intersection with the centerline of King Road; thence southeasterly along the centerline of King Road to the intersection with the centerline of McKee Road; thence northeasterly along the centerline of McKee Road to the southeasterly prolongation of the southwesterly subdivision line of Tract No. 472 as filed in Book 15 of Maps at Page 38 in the Office of the Recorder, County of Santa Clara, said prolongation and said subdivision line lying on the current common boundary between the City of San Jose and an Unincorporated Area; thence northwesterly along said southeasterly prolongation and along said southwesterly subdivision line of said Tract No. 472 and along said common City and Unincorporated Area boundary to the southwesterly subdivision line of Tract No. 610 as filed in Book 40 of Maps at Page 13 in the Office of the Recorder, County of Santa Clara; thence continuing northwesterly along said common boundary and along said southwesterly subdivision line of Tract No. 610 to the intersection with the centerline of Patt Avenue; thence northeasterly along the centerline of Patt Avenue to the intersection with centerline of White Road; thence southeasterly along the centerline of White Road to the southwesterly prolongation of the northwesterly boundary of Tract No. 886 as filed in Book 36 of Maps at Page 34 in the Office of the Recorder, County of Santa Clara; thence northeasterly along said southwesterly prolongation and along said northwesterly boundary of said Tract No. 886, said northwesterly boundary lying on the current common boundary between the City of San Jose and an Unincorporated Area to the intersection with the centerline of Gridley Avenue; thence southeasterly along the centerline of Gridley Avenue to the intersection with the centerline of McKee Road; thence northeasterly along the centerline of McKee Road to the intersection with the northwesterly prolongation of the southwesterly line of Tract No. 319 as filed in Book 11 of Maps at Page 2 in the Office of the Recorder, County of Santa Clara; thence southeasterly along said northwesterly prolongation and said southwesterly line of said Tract No. 319 to the most westerly corner of Tract No. 2331 as filed in Book 104 of Maps at Page 30 in the Office of the Recorder, County of Santa Clara; thence southeasterly along the southwesterly line of said Tract No. 2331 to the most southerly corner thereof; thence northeasterly along the southeasterly line of said Tract No. 2331 to the Easternmost corner thereof, said corner being the most southerly corner of the Lands of Frisbey described in the Deed filed as Document No. 14082054 in the Office of the Recorder, County of Santa Clara; thence northeasterly along the southeasterly line of said Lands of Frisbey and the northeasterly prolongation of said southeasterly line to the intersection with the centerline of Kirk Avenue; thence southeasterly along the centerline of Kirk Avenue to the intersection with the centerline of Alum Rock Avenue; thence southwesterly along the centerline of Alum Rock Avenue to the intersection with the centerline of Fleming Avenue; thence southeasterly along the centerline of Fleming Avenue to the northeasterly prolongation of the northeasterly boundary of that certain annexation to the City of San Jose known as Story No. 32 (corrected February 19, 1980); thence along said prolongation and following the meandering of said northeasterly line of Story No. 32 and its easterly prolongation to the centerline of Mahoney Avenue; thence southeasterly along the centerline of Mahoney Avenue to the southwesterly prolongation of the southeasterly line of Lot 30 of Tract No. 2734 as filed in Book 119 of Maps at Page 24 in the Office of the Recorder, County of Santa Clara; thence northeasterly along said southwesterly prolongation and said southeasterly line, said southeasterly line lying on the current common boundary between the City of San Jose and an Unincorporated Area, to the southeasterly boundary line of Tract No. 378 as filed in Book 11 of Maps at Page 55 in the Office of the Recorder, County of Santa Clara; thence northeasterly along said southeasterly boundary line of said Tract No. 378 and said current common boundary between the City of San Jose and an Unincorporated Area to the intersection with the centerline of Fleming Avenue; thence southeasterly along the centerline of Fleming Avenue to the northeasterly prolongation of the southeasterly line of Lot 1 of Tract No. 8159 as filed in Book 598 of Maps at Pages 40 and 41 in the Office of the Recorder, County of Santa Clara; thence southwesterly along said northeasterly prolongation and said southeasterly line of said Lot 1 and southwesterly along the southeasterly boundary line of said Tract No. 8159 to the intersection with the northeasterly line of Tract No. 5325 as filed in Book 324 of Maps at Pages 17 and 18 in the Office of the Recorder, County of Santa Clara; thence southeasterly along said northeasterly line to the intersection with the northwesterly line of Tract No. 3740 as filed in Book 182 of Maps at Pages 7 through 9 in the Office of the Recorder, County of Santa Clara; thence northeasterly along said northwesterly line to the centerline of Fleming Avenue; thence southeasterly along the centerline of Fleming Avenue to the intersection with the centerline of Story Road; thence southwesterly along the centerline of Story Road to the intersection with the centerline of Clayton Road; thence southeasterly along the centerline of Clayton Road to the intersection with the centerline of Harvest Drive; thence southerly along the centerline of Harvest Drive to the intersection with the centerline of Mt. Pleasant Road; thence southeasterly along the centerline of Mt. Pleasant Road to the intersection with the centerline of Kohler Avenue, also being on the northerly boundary of Tract No. 4328, as filed in Book 240 of Maps at Pages 18 and 19, in the Office of the Recorder, County of Santa Clara; thence northeasterly along the centerline of said Kohler Avenue to the northerly boundary corner of said Tract No. 4328; thence southeasterly along the northeasterly boundary line of said Tract No. 4328, and along its southeasterly prolongation, to the intersection with the northeasterly prolongation of the centerline of Holderman Drive, as said northeasterly boundary line and Holderman Drive are shown on said Tract No. 4328; thence southwesterly along said northeasterly prolongation of the centerline of Holderman Drive, and continuing southwesterly along said centerline of Holderman Drive and its southwesterly prolongation, to the intersection with the centerline of Flint Avenue; thence northwesterly along the centerline of Flint Avenue to the intersection with the northeasterly prolongation of the northwesterly line of Tract No. 6572, as filed in Book 446 of Maps at pages 53 to 55, in the Office of the Recorder, County of Santa Clara; thence southwesterly along the said northwesterly line of Tract No. 6572 and its prolongation, to the intersection with the centerline of White Road; thence southeasterly along the centerline of White Road to the intersection with the centerline of Cunningham Avenue; thence southwesterly along the centerline of Cunningham Avenue to the intersection with the centerline of Capitol Expressway; thence southeasterly and southwesterly along the centerline of Capitol Expressway to the intersection with the centerline of the Coyote Creek; thence meandering southeasterly along the centerline of the Coyote Creek to the intersection with the centerline of Hellyer Avenue; thence easterly along the centerline of Hellyer Avenue and its northeasterly prolongation to the intersection with the centerline of the U.S. 101 (Bayshore Freeway); thence northerly along the centerline of U.S. 101 (Bayshore Freeway) to the intersection with the centerline of Yerba Buena Road; thence easterly along the centerline of Yerba Buena Road to the intersection with the centerline of Villa Vista Road; thence southeasterly along the centerline of Villa Vista Road to the intersection with the centerline of Yerba Buena Creek; thence southeasterly along the centerline of Yerba Buena Creek to the intersection with the centerline of P.G. & E. Metcalf-Newark 220KV Tower Line, as shown on P.G. & E. Sunol-Moss Landing Map No. 204289 & 204290, sheet 19-20 of 42, dated 1948; thence northeasterly and northwesterly along the centerline of P.G. & E. Metcalf-Newark 220KV Tower Line to the intersection with the centerline of the Arroyo Aguague; thence northwesterly along the centerline of Arroyo Aguague to the intersection with the centerline of Upper Penitencia Creek; thence northeasterly along the centerline of the Upper Penitencia Creek to the intersection with the centerline of P.G. & E. Metcalf-Newark 220KV Tower Line, as shown on P.G.& E. Sunol-Moss Landing Map No. 204280, sheet 10 of 42, dated 1948; thence northwesterly along the centerline of P.G. & E. Metcalf-Newark 220KV Tower Line, as shown on P.G.& E. Sunol-Moss Landing Map No. 204279 & 204280, sheet 9-10 of 42, to the intersection with the centerline of Felter Road; thence meandering northwesterly along the centerline of Felter Road to the intersection with the centerline of Calaveras Road; thence meandering northwesterly along the centerline of Calaveras Road to the intersection with the centerline of Weller Road; thence meandering northwesterly along the centerline of Weller Road, and its northerly extension, to the intersection with the boundary line for Santa Clara County and Alameda County; thence meandering westerly along the boundary line between Santa Clara County and Alameda County to the point of beginning.
