Sec. A5-5. Boundaries of District 5.

The boundaries of Supervisorial District No. Five shall be as follows:

Beginning at the point of intersection of the boundaries between the City of Saratoga, the City of Campbell, and the Town of Los Gatos, at the centerline of San Tomas Aquino Creek, at Pollard Road; thence meandering southwesterly along the centerline of the San Tomas Aquino Creek, also being the common boundary of the City of Saratoga and the Town of Los Gatos, to the northerly boundary of the City of Monte Sereno at Bicknell Road; thence in a general easterly direction following the meandering of the boundary of the City of Monte Sereno with the common boundaries of the Town of Los Gatos and some Unincorporated Areas to an angle point in said common boundary at La Rinconada Drive and Winchester Boulevard; thence in a general southwesterly direction following the meandering of the common boundary of the City of Monte Sereno and the Town of Los Gatos to the common boundary of the Town of Los Gatos and the City of Monte Sereno with an Unincorporated Area at Overlook Road; thence in a general northerly direction along said City of Monte Sereno and Unincorporated Area boundary to the southeasterly boundary of the City of Saratoga at the centerline of San Tomas Aquino Creek; thence westerly (approximately 150 feet) along the centerline of said San Tomas Aquino Creek, also being the boundary of the City of Saratoga to the intersection with centerline of the unnamed branch creek paralleling Wood Acres Road; thence meandering southwesterly along the centerline of said unnamed branch creek to the intersection with the north section line of Section 19, T. 8 S., R. 1 W., MDM, said section line also being the southern boundary of the Saratoga Union School District as described on pages 1 to 4, Saratoga Union School District - Certification of Legal Descriptions of School District Boundaries (Revised 1980); thence along said southerly boundary for the Saratoga Union School District as follows: westerly along said north section line of Section 19 to the northwest corner of the Northeast Quarter of the Northwest Quarter of said Section 19; southerly along the North-South 1/16 Line of Section 19 to the northeast corner of the Southwest Quarter of the Northwest Quarter of said Section 19; westerly along the East-West 1/16 Line of Section 19 to the northeast corner of the Southeast Quarter of the Northeast Quarter of Section 24, T. 8 S., R. 2 W.; westerly along the East-West 1/16 Line of Section 24 to the North-South 1/4 Section Line of said Section 24, also being at the northwest corner of the Southwest Quarter of the Northeast Quarter of said Section 24; southerly along the said North-South 1/4 Line of Section 24 to the southeast corner of the Southeast Quarter of the Southwest Quarter of said Section 24; westerly along the south section line of said Section 24 to the southwest corner of the said Southeast Quarter of the Southwest Quarter of Section 24; northerly along the North-South 1/16 Line of Section 24 to the northwest corner of the said Southeast Quarter of the Southwest Quarter of Section 24; westerly along the East-West 1/16 Line of Section 23 to the northeast corner of the Southeast Quarter of the Southeast Quarter of Section 23, T. 8 S., R. 2 W.; westerly along the East-West 1/16 Line of Section 23 to the northwest corner of the Southwest Quarter of the Southwest Quarter of said Section 23; southerly along the west section of said Section 23 to the common corner for Sections 22, 23, 26, and 27, of said T. 8 S., R. 2 W.; south along the West Section Line of said Section 26 to the common boundary of Santa Clara County and Santa Cruz County; thence leaving said Saratoga Union School Boundary, and meandering northwesterly along the said common county boundary to the common corner for Santa Clara County, Santa Cruz County, and San Mateo County, near Rosemary Lane; thence meandering northwesterly and northeasterly along the common boundary for Santa Clara County and San Mateo County to the common boundary corner for Santa Clara County, San Mateo County, and Alameda County; thence meandering southeasterly along the common boundary for Santa Clara County and Alameda County to the intersection with the westerly original incorporation boundary of the City of Sunnyvale; thence southerly, easterly, and southerly along the westerly boundary of the City of Sunnyvale to an angle point in said City of Sunnyvale boundary at U.S. 101 (Bayshore Freeway); thence continuing northwesterly along said City of Sunnyvale boundary, and along U.S. 101, to the common boundary between the City of Sunnyvale and the City of Mountain View; thence meandering southerly along the common boundary between the City of Sunnyvale and the City of Mountain View to the intersection with the centerline of the El Camino Real (State Highway 82); thence southeasterly and easterly along the centerline of the El Camino Real to the intersection with the common boundary between the City of Santa Clara and the City of Sunnyvale, said intersection is approximately 150 feet east of Helen Avenue; thence meandering southerly along the common boundary between the City of Santa Clara and the City of Sunnyvale to the common boundary between the Cities of Sunnyvale, Santa Clara, and Cupertino, at Homestead Road and Swallow Way; thence southerly along the common boundary between the City of Santa Clara and the City of Cupertino to the centerline of Stevens Creek Boulevard; thence easterly along the centerline of Stevens Creek Boulevard to the centerline of Stern Avenue; thence southerly along the centerline of Stern Avenue to the intersection with the easterly prolongation of the lot line between Lots 4 and 5 of Tract No. 1164, as filed in Book 42 of Maps at Page 22, in the Office of the Recorder, County of Santa Clara; thence westerly along said lot line between Lots 4 and 5 to the intersection with the easterly boundary line of Tract No. 502, as filed in Book 18 of Maps at Page 35, in the Office of the Recorder, County of Santa Clara; thence southerly and westerly along the easterly and southerly boundary lines of said Tract No. 502, to the southeast boundary corner of Tract No. 550, as filed in Book 22 of Maps at Page 05, in the Office of the Recorder, County of Santa Clara; thence westerly along the southerly boundary line of said Tract No. 550, to the centerline of Tantau Avenue; thence southerly along the centerline of Tantau Avenue, to the westerly prolongation of the southerly boundary line of Tract No. 1287, as filed in Book 48 of Maps at Page 46, in the Office of the Recorder, County of Santa Clara; thence easterly and southerly along the southerly and westerly boundary lines of said Tract No. 1287 to the centerline of Bollinger Road; thence easterly along the centerline of Bollinger Road to the intersection with the centerline of Lawrence Expressway; thence southerly along the centerline of Lawrence Expressway to the intersection with the centerline of Prospect Road, said intersection being on the common boundary between the City San Jose and the City of Saratoga; thence meandering easterly and southerly along said common boundary between the Cities of San Jose and Saratoga to the intersection with the centerlines of the San Tomas Aquino Creek and the Southern Pacific Railroad, said intersection being at the common boundary for the Cities of Saratoga, San Jose, and Campbell; thence meandering southerly along the centerline of the San Tomas Aquino Creek, also being the common boundary between the Cities of Saratoga and Campbell, to the point of beginning.
