CHAPTER IV.
LIBRARY

ARTICLE 1.
IN GENERAL

Sec. A23-41. Recognized.

There is in the County a County library, hereinafter in this chapter referred to as the library.

Sec. A23-42. Position of Librarian recognized.

There is in the County and in the library the position of County Librarian.

Sec. A23-43. Appointment of Librarian; supervision.

The County Librarian shall be appointed in accordance with provisions of the Charter and shall be the executive officer of the library and be under the supervision of the Department Director.

Sec. A23-44. Librarian's authority over personnel.

Subject to provisions of the Charter and this Code, the Librarian shall have power to appoint, suspend or remove all assistants, deputies, clerks and other employees necessary to conduct the work of the library.
