ARTICLE 1.
INCORPORATION BY REFERENCE

Sec. C9-1. 2001 Edition, California Mechanical Code adopted.

The mechanical code of the County is the California Mechanical Code, which consists of the Uniform Mechanical Code, 2000 Edition, as published by the International Conference of Building Officials, and modified by the California Building Standards Commission, except as to any omissions, amendments and additions hereinafter noted, is hereby adopted by reference and made a part hereof as fully as if set forth.

ARTICLE 2.
OMISSIONS, ADDITIONS AND AMENDMENTS TO CALIFORNIA MECHANICAL CODE*

Sec. C9-2. Omissions, additions and amendments.

Omissions, amendments and additions to the California Mechanical Code are as set forth in this article.

Sec. C9-3. Permit fees.

Section 115.2 of the California Mechanical Code is amended to read as follows:

Sec. 115.2. Permit fees. Any person desiring a permit required by this code shall, at the time of filing an application therefore, pay a fee in accordance with a schedule set forth by resolution of the Board of Supervisors of the County of Santa Clara.

Sec. C9-4. Plan-checking fee.

Section 115.3 of the California Mechanical Code is amended to read as follows:

Sec. 115.3. Plan-checking fee. When a plan is required to be submitted as prerequisite to the issuance of a mechanical permit, a plan-checking fee shall be paid to the Building Official at the time of submitting plans and specifications for checking. Such fee shall be established by resolution of the Board of Supervisors of the County of Santa Clara.
