2012 Economic Summit

The County of Santa Clara’s Economic Summit was held over three days in August 2012 and was co-sponsored by Supervisors Dave Cortese and Mike Wasserman. It featured expert panelists discussing how Santa Clara County can improve economic activity that will lead to business growth and greater employment.
 
By focusing on three specific areas – areas that our County is intimately involved – the County can help to create opportunities for companies to thrive and continue to hire. These three areas are the green economy; health care; and small businesses. The panels were followed by question and answer periods for members of the public and stakeholders to provide comments and ask questions.
