On Tuesday, March 5, 2013, the Santa Clara County Board of Supervisors called a special election to fill the vacancy for Supervisor in District Two. A primary election will be held on June 4, 2013. If necessary, a run-off election will be held on July 30, 2013.
Please see below for a list of relevant dates related to the June 4th special election.
- Any person interested in running for Supervisor in the June 4th, 2013 special election must have been a registered voter and resided in Santa Clara County, Supervisorial District Two by 2/25/13.
- March 13, 2013 First day candidates may pick up nomination documents at the Office of the Registrar of Voters. March 27, 2013 Deadline to file all required nomination documents at the Office of the Registrar of Voters.
- May 20, 2013 Deadline to register to be eligible to vote in the June 4, 2013 Election.
