General Information About Proposition 36/SACPA
California voters passed Proposition 36, the Substance Abuse and Crime Prevention Act, in November 2000. The law (now known as SACPA) went into effect on July 1, 2001.
SACPA Orientation
The National Council on Alcoholism and Drug Dependence in the Silicon Valley (NCADD) conducts SACPA orientations about recovery resources. There are many paths to recovery, and NCADD covers the various options available in this county.
