The Plan Review and Construction Unit works to ensure that all proposed new construction or remodeling of retail food facilities and recreational health facilities meet minimum health and safety standards while ensuring the functionality, flow and ease of use for consumers and operators alike.
Plan Check submittal is required for:
- New construction of a food facility or recreational health facility (pool)
- Remodel of an existing food facility or recreational health facility
- Installation, replacement or modification of facility equipment, ventilation hoods, water heaters, floors/walls/ceilings, plumbing, etc.
Plan Check desk duty hours are 7:30AM-10:00AM and afternoons by appointment only, Monday through Friday.
