sccLearn offers two e-learning courses for countywide mandatory training:
Driver Training (WBT)
This course satisfies the training requirement for
County Driver Authorization; a requirement for driving any vehicle while on County business. In order to receive County driver authorization, employees must have all associated forms completed and on file in addition to successfully completing this course.
Sexual Harassment and Discrimination Prevention for Managers, Supervisors & Leads (WBT)
This course satisfies the requirements of Assembly Bill 1825, which mandates sexual harassment training for all managers, supervisors and leads every two years.
What to expect
Employees who are due to take one of these mandatory courses for recertification will be notified via e-mail or by their Training Liaisons or Driver Training Coordinator when it is time for them to complete the training. We will enroll employees within 60 days of their renewal date.
What you need to do
If you have previously taken this training, wait for the e-mail notification, then log in to sccLearn and take the course online. Once you successfully complete the course, you will be set up for the automatic renewal cycle. You can find instructions for taking e-learning on our
webpage. Sexual Harassment Prevention is also offered as instructor led training, however, we encourage you to take the e-learning.
Training Resources for E-Learning
SCVHHS employees will continue to use the current e-learning and learning management systems for SCVHHS specific mandated training such as HIPAA, Joint Commission, Blood Borne Pathogens, etc.
Mental Health & DADS employees will continue to use the Learning Institute online training system for CEU courses.
If you don't have a work station computer, ask your training liaison about using a Kiosk for e-learning. Computers/kiosks for taking e-learning are available in these areas:
- Ambulatory Care/Clinics conference rooms
- Ancillary break rooms
- Library (only open 9-3)
- Nurse Staffing Office (open 24 hours)
- Nursing Break Rooms
