2007 Business Environmental Awards
Presented by Acterra – Action for a Sustainable Earth
Your company/public agency may be eligible to join a select group of Bay Area businesses and organizations recognized for their outstanding environmental leadership. Presented by Acterra: Action for a Sustainable Earth, the Business Environmental Awards have honored over 100 organizations for their innovative programs and outstanding achievements which contribute toward a sustainable Bay Area.
Any private, public, or non-profit business entity, division or facility located in Alameda, Marin, San Francisco, San Mateo, Santa Clara or Santa Cruz County is eligible to apply. Applications are evaluated on the basis of Leadership, Significant Environmental Benefits, Potential Model for Business Community, Demonstrated Program Commitment and Collaborative Efforts.

Acterra is a Bay Area nonprofit that protects and restores the local natural habitat through stewardship, education, and leadership programs. Through the Environmental Business Awards, Acterra is proud to recognize businesses and organizations that have demonstrated proactive environmental practices, programs and products that benefit the local community.
