Accelerated College Degree Programs

National University and the County of Santa Clara have partnered to offer accelerated Bachelor and Master Degree Programs to County employees at a significantly reduced tuition rate.

This unique program allows employees to register for classes as their schedules and busy lives allow.  These programs run in a 'cohort' format, which means class participants who have common academic needs follow the same academic track.  This provides students the opportunity to know their fellow students and develop academic support while pursuing Degrees in higher education.

National University will develop a schedule of traditional, instructor-led classes which will be held after normal working hours. The accelerated format means classes run for a 4 - 5 week period, after which you may take time off -- or sign up for the next class offered.

Classes are held at the County Training and Conference Center, 2310 North First Street, Suite 102, San Jose.

County employees receive a 40% discount off the current tuition rates, plus the cost of books. Classes and books may be eligible for Tuition Reimbursement.

We will hold Informational Meetings periodically for both programs (Master & Bachelor). Employees have the option of waiting for the next meeting or going directly to National University to enroll. If you go directly to National University, please make sure they know you would like to attend the County program.
