AFFORDABLE HOUSING WEEK

Affordable Housing Week is back and will be held from May 12 to 18, 2013 in Santa Clara County!

Mark your calendars: the 2013 Affordable Housing Week (AHW) for Santa Clara County will run from May 12 to May 18!  If 2012 was the year of struggling with the dissolution of redevelopment agencies and other challenges, 2013 is the year of rebuilding and renewal: rebuilding in terms of creating new affordable housing tools, policies, funding, and strategies; and renewal in terms of revitalized spirit and energy for advancing the cause of – and communicating the ongoing need for – housing that is affordable for our region’s families and workforce across incomes.

The AHW planning committee is currently seeking great events along two event tracks for the week that: 1) provide a space for regional dialogue, information sharing, and collaboration; 2) continue positive momentum towards developing solutions and strategies; and/or 3) provide education and information resources for clients.  Event proposals can be submitted by a single agency or through collaboration with multiple organizations.  The deadline to apply is April 5, 2013.  For more information, please review the attached proposal form.

If you have any questions, please feel free to contact any of the planning committee members below.  We will share the event list once it is finalized.
