WHAT: Santa Clara County Social Services Agency Department of Aging and Adult Services and the Friends of Human Relations invite residents to the 18th Annual Adult Services Resource Faire. The event targets elders and gathers over 80 agencies that provide information, nutrition tips, screening, resources and networking for consumers, caretakers and community providers. Hundreds of participants are expected to attend. Free cholesterol screenings, flu shots, bone density scans and other services will be available. There will be raffle prizes. The first 150 attendees will receive a gift. This faire provides older adults with information about services and resources available in their community to ensure their well-being.
