County of Santa Clara to Host Annual Commemoration of Women’s Equality Day

Breakfast to highlight 91 Years of Women’s Right to Vote

WHAT:
In commemoration of Women’s Equality Day, the County of Santa Clara Commission on the Status of Women and the Office of Women’s Policy will host their annual breakfast. The event will gather hundreds of civic leaders who celebrate the achievements of women and discuss challenges and opportunities for women’s advancement.

On the Commission on the Status of Women
For nearly 40 years, the County of Santa Clara Commission on the Status of Women has advised the Board of Supervisors on equal participation and treatment, and other issues that affect the lives of women and girls in Santa Clara County. The Commission works with the Office of Women’s Policy and women’s organizations on joint strategic initiatives and advocate for women at all levels.
