The section of Almaden Expressway between Blossom Hill Road and Branham Lane is the most congested section of the expressway, as drivers commute to and from Almaden Valley, access commercial properties along this segment, and enter and exit from State Route 85. To address the issues, the project has added exit lanes between Branham, widened Blossom Hill Road, added an additional lane on Almaden Plaza Way, modified intersections, added a left u-turn lane from Best Buy driveway, included sidewalk and sound wall construction, and added a right-turn lane from northbound Almaden Expressway onto Chynoweth Avenue, and included energy saving lighting and pedestrian improvements throughout.
New road infrastructures; ceremonial lighting ceremony; and new road signs, banner.
