Parent Friendly Workplace Award

The Parent Friendly Workplace designation entitles you to an official seal from the County of Santa Clara which you can display in your door front and on all advertising materials.  There are two steps to this award: A Mother-Friendly Designation and a Parent-Friendly Workplace Award assessment. 
 
The first step of the Parent-Friendly Workplace Award is to  be certified as a SCC Mother-Friendly Employer  through the County of Santa Clara Pubic Health Department.  The Mother-Friendly award covers lactation accommodations only.  If you have not been certified, apply for designation online now.  
 
The second step for the Parent-Friendly Workplace Award, is to take a self-assessment.  The Parent-Friendly Workplace Award is more comprehensive and covers pregnancy, parental leave and caregiving accommodations.  Please take a self-assessment now.
