Women make up half the population and half the workforce in Santa Clara County. Women represent the largest market opportunity in the world, controlling $20 trillion in annual consumer spending. However, women’s ability to advance and move to greater economic prosperity is compromised whenever women experience discrimination, inequity or lack of opportunity.
These effects are damaging not only to women, they impact families and our entire community. Through key initiatives and education, Office of Women’s Policy is committed to greater economic security and prosperity for women and believe this is key to a vibrant, sustainable global economy.
The Office of Women’s Policy, in collaboration with other organizations, sponsors annual events to promote fair/equal pay for women. Many of the materials from these events can be found below. For more information, contact firstname.lastname@example.org
