About Boating Safely (ABS) Course, Anderson Lake, 8am-5pm This beginner all-day boating class, taught by the Coast Guard Auxiliary, will give you the knowledge needed to obtain a boat license or safety certification in many states. Learn about boating law, safety equipment, navigation, and much more. Participants are encouraged to bring their vessels for a free safety inspection and certified safety decal. $35 registration fee covers course materials.

Introduction to Disc Golf: It’s Just a Walk in the Park! Hellyer/El Parque De La Raza De Paz, 9am–11am Disc golf is a game where individuals throw flying discs at targets. Come learn about this fun, easy and inexpensive sport with members of the Silicon Valley Disc Golf Club. Ages 10 and under must be accompanied by an adult. Equipment is provided. Space is limited. Bring water, sunscreen and comfortable shoes.

History Tour by Van, Almaden Quicksilver, 9am-1:30pmStep back in time and experience what life was like back in the mining heyday. Ride by van to various historic sites and enjoy a brown-bag lunch in the park. Tour costs $10 per person. Children must be over 6 years and 60 lbs.
