Santa Clara County Informal Juvenile and Traffic Court

AMNESTY PROGRAM (January 1, 2012 – June 30, 2012)
California Assembly Bill 1358 and Vehicle Code Section 42008.7 (to include eligible juvenile cases)

Beginning January 1, 2012, violators who have old unpaid traffic tickets and non-vehicle code infraction fines may qualify for a 50% reduction on outstanding fines, fees and assessments associated with the eligible case. To qualify for the 50% reduction on Santa Clara County matters, ALL of the following conditions must be met.

  1. You have an outstanding Juvenile traffic and/or non-vehicle code case that was due to be paid in full before January 1, 2009
  2. You failed to pay in full
  3. The last date you made a payment was on or before January 1, 2009
  4. There was no Civil Assessment Fee added to your case after January 1, 2009
  5. You don’t owe restitution to a victim on any case within Santa Clara County
  6. You have no outstanding misdemeanor or felony warrants in Santa Clara County

Violators MUST submit an eligibility affidavit on or before June 15, 2012 and pay off the balance due in one lump sum by cash or money order (No Checks or ATM Accepted) no later than June 29, 2012.

  1. Appearing in person at IJTC where your case was filed,
  2. By calling (408) 278- 5997 between 8:00 A.M. to 5:00 P.M. Monday through Friday, or
