The Organization of the Roads and Airports Department

The Roads and Airports Department is made up of four divisions.  The links below provide organizational charts to illustrate the Department's structure and authorities.

Infrastructure Development
.    Learn about the organization of the Infrastructure Development Division, which provides operations, maintenance, and enhancements services to the County's expressways, unincorporated roads, and three general aviation airports.

Roads Operations.   Learn about the organization of the Roads Operations Division, which performs repairs and scheduled maintenance of the County roads network, based on a Pavement Management System.

Administration.   Learn about the organization of the Administrative Services Group, which provides support services for the Roads and Airports Department in the areas of administrative, personnel, grant coordination, information services, public relations, fiscal, and budget.

Airport Operations.   Learn about the organization of the Airport Operations Division, which operates three airports in the county, including Reid-Hillview, Palo Alto, and South County airports.
