Representatives from the Santa Clara County Public Health Department's "Positive Connections" Program, a subsidiary of the STD and HIV Prevention and Control Program, recently attended the 2012 Ryan White Conference Program in Washington, D.C.
Positive Connections, and their impressive 8-feet by 4-feet informational banner, was so well-received, they have been featured on the Technical Assistance Resources, Guidance, Education & Training (TARGET) Center's website. Read their featured article here, entitled Live @ 2012 Ryan White: Linking to Care.
The TARGET Center supports HIV/AIDS care through education and innovation for the Ryan White HIV/AIDS Program, a Federal program that provides HIV/AIDS care in the U.S. for those who cannot afford care.
The TARGET Center Web site is the central source of technical assistance (TA) and training resources for the Ryan White HIV/AIDS Program. The site is the one-stop shop for tools from Grantees and others funded by the Health Resources and Services Administration’s (HRSA) HIV/AIDS Bureau (HAB), which administers Ryan White services. HRSA is an agency of the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services.
