Santa Clara County Launches PSAs for ReThink Your Drink Campaign
Hey, kids, know how much sugar is in the sodas and juices boxes you're drinking all year? More than you'd imagine. The Santa Clara County Public Health Department (CA), with help from Kaiser Permanente, explains it all.
Check out our latest PSA “Rule of 4” with our friends, Dexter and Martina!
As part of Santa Clara County Public Health Department’s Communities Putting Prevention to Work – Obesity Prevention program and the County’s ReThink Your Drink campaign, two 1-minute animated videos titled, “Pyramid Power” and “Rule of 4” and a 1-minute “ReThink Your Drink” rap were created through an in-kind grant from Kaiser Permanente. These PSAs are directed at elementary school age children and their parents and illustrate how to identify sugar in different drinks, how to read a label, and why to it is important to drink healthier beverages.
Don’t forget to click on “Pyramid Power” and stay tuned for the debut of the “ReThink Your Drink” rap soon!
